CHARMKING Socks, 8 Pairs
Labelled 15-20 mmHg by its maker
Our link opens on L/XL; pick S/M on the listing if that is your size.
Compression sock sizes come from your calf circumference at its widest point plus your shoe size, and every brand charts them differently: on Comrad's chart a 14 inch calf with a women's 8 shoe is a Medium, while JOBST sizes by ankle and calf only and Sockwell by shoe size only. Enter your numbers below to see your size on all six brands' own charts.

Your measurements
A 14 in (35.6 cm) calf on each brand's own chart, with a US women's 8 shoe:
Where a brand's sizes overlap, every size that fits is shown, because the brand's own chart overlaps. Sizing only: this tool does not suggest a compression level. If a clinician has specified one for you, follow it.
No tape measure? Leave the calf blank and the finder sizes by shoe alone, which is less reliable. How to measure.
Every size each brand's chart allows for a given calf, before shoe size narrows it down. Read across a row and the same calf lands on different sizes, and often on two sizes of one brand, because the brands' own ranges overlap. JOBST prints centimetres; its column converts the inch row (1 in = 2.54 cm). Sockwell is not in this table because it publishes no calf measurement.

The listing we link for a brand is not always its wide build: our Wellow pick is the regular-calf version. Where a link opens on one size or build, its card below says so.
Shoe size predicts calf size poorly, which is why most of these brands chart both. Our compression socks guide covers fit failures in more depth. Shopping for shoes as well? The shoe size converter lines your US size up against HOKA, Brooks, Skechers, Dansko and Crocs.
This is a sizing tool only. It does not suggest a compression level, and the mmHg figures on this page are each product's label as its maker states it. If a clinician has specified a level for you, follow their guidance. We do not wear-test socks; this page reports what each brand publishes.

Rated 4.2 stars from 146 ratings on the retailer listing when we last read it on August 27, 2026, under the 4.3-star floor; it stays because it is the only 18-25 mmHg sock we list.

JOBST
Labelled 15-20 mmHg by its maker
Our link opens on Medium; other sizes are on the listing.
If a clinician has specified a compression level for you, follow their guidance; JOBST sizes by ankle and calf circumference.
Measure your calf at its widest point, then read it against the brand's own chart together with your shoe size. Sizes do not carry across brands: a 14 inch calf with a women's 8 shoe is a Medium on Comrad's and Wellow's charts but could be S/M or L/XL on CHARMKING's and Physix Gear's, where those two sizes overlap.
Comrad and Wellow measure the calf around its widest part; Wellow has you sit with your legs at a 90 degree angle while a helper measures. JOBST measures the ankle at its smallest circumference and the calf at its largest, each leg separately, and says to measure early in the morning when possible.
Follow the brand's own rule where it publishes one. Comrad says to size down for a tighter feel or up for more comfort, especially if you are new to compression, and Sockwell says to size down when you are between sizes. CHARMKING, Physix Gear, Wellow and JOBST publish no between-sizes rule on the charts we read.
Several of these brands make them. Comrad's S, M and L Wide run to a 19 inch calf, Wellow's wide-calf sizes to 22 inches, and JOBST Relief's Full Calf sizes to 61 cm (about 24 inches). Physix Gear's XXL is charted to a 24 inch calf, and Sockwell's Wide Calf Series adds leg room without a published calf measurement.
Some are. Sockwell sizes by shoe size only. JOBST sizes Relief by ankle and calf circumference only. Comrad, CHARMKING, Physix Gear and Wellow chart both shoe size and calf circumference.
